YTL Foundation recognises the importance of collective effort to further our vision of building better societies through better education. Our purpose-driven partnerships with non- profit organisations, corporations and social enterprises create sustainable and impactful outcomes.
CLIC serves the local Sentul Community by providing a library, facilities for teaching and online learning, a Chromebook zone and an early childhood play area. After school tuition and extra-curricular activities are carried out by the Foundation in partnership with FrogAsia.
Teach for Malaysia
YTL Foundation continues to support Teach For Malaysia to help provide equal opportunity to quality education for all Malaysian students. Teach for Malaysia recruit, train and support future leaders who teach as fellows in high need schools across Malaysia.
Chumbaka is a social enterprise with a mission to create an afterschool space to promote Maker culture. The programme will provide accessible and equitable STEM-based education to all students in Malaysia. YTL Foundation has helped fund the Chumbaka programme for 20 students and 10 teachers in 5 schools.
100% projects is a crowdfunding site especially for schools. The schools will be able to seek funding for programmes, infrastructure, books, uniforms…etc from the community through this site.
Malaysian Collective Impact (MCII)
MCII is the first collective impact initiative in the country which bring together stakeholders and the community through a common agenda, shared measurement, continuous communications and mutually reinforcing activities. MCII’s strategic goal is to mobilise and coordinate the activities of all stakeholders, so collectively a systemic change in the education system can be made.
